Outlook™ Express for Mac OS®

Follow the steps to configure Outlook™ Express 5 for JapanNet.

1. Doubld-click the "Outlook Express 5" icon to launch application.

2. Choose "I already have an Internet e-mail account, buto I have never used that account on this computer; or I have used another program but I don't want to import anything from tha program." and click right-arrow ().

3. Type your full name in the [Display name] text-box and click right-arrow ().

4. Choose "I already have and e-mail address that I'd like to use," type your JapanNet's E-mail Address in the [E-mail address] text-box, and click right-arrow ().

5. Refer to the following chart, type or choose the appropreate information in the each text-box and click right-arrow ().

My incoming mail server is a	POP3
Incoming mail server	mail.kdd.net
Outgoing mail server	smtp.kdd.net

6. Refer to the following chart, type the appropreate information in the each text-box and click right-arrow ().

Account ID	(Your Mail Account Name) EX.) mb000000
Password	(Your Mail Password)
Save password	(Checked)
Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)	(Never check)

7. Type "JapanNet" in the [Account Name] text-box, check the check-box next to "Include this account in my "Send & Receive All" schedule" and click the [Finish] button.

Now, you are just complete the configuration for JapanNet's mail account and ready to sending/receiving e-mail.
