Mail for Mac OS® X

Follow the steps to configure Mail for JapanNet.

1. Doubld-click the "Mail" icon in the Application folder to launch application.

2. "Mail Account Setup" dialog appears. Refer to the following chart, type and/or choose the appropreate information in the each text-box and click the [OK] button.
* If "Mail Account Setup" dialog does not come up, please see this page to set up account.

Your Name	(Your Full Name)
Email Address	(Your JapanNet's E-mail Address)
Incoming Mail Server	mail.kdd.net
Mail Server Type	POP
User Account ID	(Your Mail Account Name)
Password	(Your Mail Account Password)
Outgoing Mail Server	smtp.kdd.net

3. After you press the [OK] button, Mail atempts to connect to the JapanNet's mail server. You need to have connection to the Internet at this point.

Now, you should be able to send and receive E-mail using new JapanNet's account.

** If you see the dialog below after connecting to mail server first time, simply press the [No] button.
