E-mail Set Up: Outlook 2003


Microsoft® Outlook™ 2003 for Windows®

Follow the steps to configure Microsoft® Outlook™ 2003 for JapanNet.

1. Doubld-click the "Outlook 2003" icon to launch application.

Or, click the [Start] button and choose [All Programs] - [Microsoft Office] - [Microsoft Office Outlook 2003].

2. Click the [Next] button.

3. If an old version of Microsoft Outlook or other mail software installed in your PC, the upgrade wizard comes up. Choose "Do not upgrade" if you do not need to upgrade from older version of Outlook™ or other mail program; and then, click the [Next] button.


4. Choose "Yes" and click the [Next] button.

5. Choose "POP3" and click the [Next] button.

6. Refer to the following chart, type the appropreate information or check/uncheck in each text-box.

Your Name (Your full name)
E-mail Address (Your E-mail Address for JapanNet)
Incoming mail server mail.kdd.net
Outgoing mail server smtp.kdd.net
User name (Your Mail Account Name)
EX.) mb000000
Password (Your Mail Account Password)
Remember password (Checked)
Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) (Uncheck)

7. Click the [Finish] button.

Now, you are just complete the configuration for JapanNet's mail account and ready to sending/receiving e-mail.
